i am a married woman from pakistan.i have a two chidren. one a daughter aged 17 and a son aged 15. i beong from karachi. my problem is that my husband is addcited to alchohol and he drinks alot.When he get drunk alot he give me divorce threats and use abusive language.when we have small arguements he gets hyper and starts to beat me. one day he took out the chefs knife and tried to kill me.but after that in the past one month our relation got better and we came to holidays to uk .Now he is again drinkng alot and do fights and all the same story which i mentioned above. My children are sleepless all night because of the scare that he would kill me or divorce me .Now i want to to take assylum fron uk government and want protection from my husband. Please can u guide me what steps to be taken i request you to please help me out.AND please also mention what steps willbe taken against my husband. Thank you
