Hello,
I know someone who has a primary residence and a secondary property in the country that they currently rent out. The country property is not insured.

If there is an accident, or lawsuit deriving from that country property, are they liable to lose their primary residence as a result?

If so, how can they protect themselves from this so as the 2 properties are completely separate?
