I am having a problem with the Children's Aid Society. I lost my two girls five years ago, and have been fighting ever since to get them back. well I am 8 months pregnant with a third child, and the agency is telling me that I have to go to a home for mothers if I want to keep my baby. I do not agree with this, because the agency gave me a parent assessment four years ago, and it said that I can parent with support. They have not had concerns about my parenting for the past four years, and I have been allowed to have my children unsupervised since that time. If I go to the home that they want me to go to I lose my apartment and the stable home I have created for my unborn child. Legally can the C.A.S do this? The only other option I was given was to put my baby in foster care, which I refuse to do.
