Excessive force from a police officer causing tendon rupture

Posted in other over 2 years ago, 0 replies

6 years ago i had surgery to repair 2 tendons and both nerves in my small finger on left hand. 3 months later my boyfriend and I had an argument which i had called the police, when the police officer showed up,he used excessive force on me. My keys were in my left hand and he was squeezing my hand with my keys in it, i told him that i had just had surgery on that hand and to let go of that hand and i would cooperate. He had me face down on the grass in my front yard kneeling on me pushing on my hand. Finally he let me up and put me in the back of his police car. I have had trouble with this finger ever since and now i might have to go for surgery again to repair again. just wondering what to do to gain compensation for pain and suffering
