I am currently in a rehab center and when I am released I'm facing 50 counts of filling my own Narcotic rx using my Dr.s name. My wife knows of one other that I used her moms name for. She said she would not tell anyone if I agreed to 1yr of marriage counseling. If I do not she will tell the detective about it after I face my sentencing for my other charges. This would be a 2nd offense and I would get jail time. I want a divorce (she turned me in) but I do not want jail time. Im stuck can she bribe me with this? I thought a second offense would have to occur after the first sentencing. She has also told me I can avoid jail time by community service, drug testing and marriage counseling. she said this is what her laywer told her. Is that right. I feel she is trying to trap me in my marriage and I just want out.
