I have had a small collision with a wall whilst driving a van owned by the company i work for. No other vehicle was involved and no one was injured. I have repaired the damage to the wall caused by the collision however there is a minor scratch on the bodywork of the van. Can my employer make me pay for the damage to the van and if I refuse to pay do they have grounds for dismissal?
