I am a church secretary(part time) who has worked for over 4 yrs at Lutheran church in Michigan. I was recently "let go" because I am not a member of the church (even though they knew this when they hired me) and I was told that if I joined the church that I could keep my job. I am a christian from another denomination and this is something that I do not want to do. They told me that I had done nothing wrong and they were happy with my job performance.Is this discrimination and even though I am only part time, do I have a case?
