Someone hit and run our vehicle in front of my house and then we found a car in our neighborhood that was still warm under the hood with the same color paint and consistent damage to our car, what can we do if the cop knocks on the door of that owner's car and he didn't answer, then the cop towed away the car for illegal parking and says he can't do anything because we don't have proof that they hit our car?
