HOW TO GET MONEY BACK AFTER PURCHASING A HORSE THAT REALLY NEEDED A TRAINER

Purchased a horse have been riding 20 years, was told horse needed a bit of work has not been rode for a while, really horse needed a prof. trainer to be re broke,will not return money, and will not pay half of trainer can not mount horse so i can not sell, what do i do?
