EX GF and Birth Certificate

My Ex Girlfriend wants me to sign saying i am the paternal father before a DNA Test and says she wont let me do a DNA Test till i sign teh papers am i hurting my self by signing the berth certificate?? if i dont and i am the father can i get back on the certificate?
