My sophomore year of college, the University decided evaluate my finanacial aid status at the end of fall quarter. This means my account was frozen and I would be unable to schedule any classes or pay any fees. The week before winter quarter started, my statement of account showed an unusually high amount. I was billed for fall quarter, when I was unable to pay it. My financial aid page (page that shows your credits towards your tuition) was ignored and still showed that I had been awarded certain scholarships and grants when they had been taken away without my knowledge. I ended up having to pay them every cent I have ever made in my life. Am I due a certain compensation for their negligence?
