My employer suspended me for a missing deposit that was not my fault. The deposit was not in the safe when I went to go to the bank. The closing manager from the night before, said she put it in there, but it was gone. She accused me of taking it, and now we're both suspended. I don't think its right because I did nothing wrong, I was just the lucky one to open that day and open the safe with no deposit. How can they do that when I am innocent. Someone said I could sue for defination of character. I just don't feel it's right, how can I be punished for something I did not do?
