redundancy rights when pregnant

i work part time and im currently 8 weeks pregnant, my employers have been notified. I have been told my job has been disastalished and i have been given 30 days notice. there are 3 full time members of staff and 6 part time, that have all been given the same notification. we have all been told that we have to applie for a new role. there are 3 full time jobs avalible and a possible 3 part time jobs. even though my job has been disastablished the work i do now will still be undertaken by a new possition plus extra work(a full time possition) am i protected by legestation because i am pregnant? i have been given conflicing advice and i just wanted to know where i stand when i speak with my employer.
