my family is being sued and our mortgage is being forclosed on. we had 2 LATE payments... not even back to back. we had money in the account and the royal bank didnt even take payments some months. my name is not even on the mortgage... its my parents. and they are trying to sue me and im not even on the mortgage. i have a shared visa with my father that has only had a couple LATE not missed payments ever. and because of that they are trying to drag me thru the dirt as well. they can only go to collections thru visa if i missed 120 days consecutive payment, and the most that was ever missed was maybe a week. so not even enough to send to collections let alone sue me because they are sueing my parents wrongfully. i dont see how they can sue my parents for 2 LATE payments anyway. the papers and books do not hold up on their part. someone on their end REALLY messed up it seems. what should i do and what do you think???
