Divorce never final from 11 yrs. and now planning to get married again

I thought that my divorce was final 11 yrs ago and just found out (since I couldn't find my divorce decree) that it became inactive at the courthouse since my "ex" never paid the lawyer. I am suppose to get married in two months. What are my options and how expensive at this time. I haven't seen my ex in 11 yrs.
