we have put a deposit on a mobile home in Moncton N.B. We are all packed and ready to move. Changed all our addresses and quit our jobs. The realtor just called us and said the owners may shut down the park. We have spent a lot of money preparing to move. Who is responsible for our distress and monotary loss...the owners or the realtor?

its becoming more difficult to rely on Gov't to protect mobile home sparks...they dont see the benefits from it. there are a lot of nice parks and make life affordable. We need to change the stigma attached and if you look around a mobile home park you can see tht people really do look after their homes, it really is no different than any other housing neighborhood as you will always have neighbors who dont look after their property. We need to lobby to get tenancy changed and make our homes a secure investment. but nobody wants to listen.. We;ve created a co-op in our park and its onlya beginning to hopefully secure our investments should the landowners decide to sell the property that we maintain for them.
Good luck!
