In october my husband & I met with a local bankruptcy atty. we have to do chapter 13 due to our income. We have paid the retainer and have alot of questions.
#1 I currently have a garnishment and my husband just had $5800.00 taken from a credit card company out of his bank account. When will this end?? and is the money form my husbands account returnable?
#2. This has placed alot of strain on our marriage if we seperate, how will this affect our chapter 13?
#3 The lawyer has been paid the retainer but his wife has been diagnosed with cancer and has not done anything with our account since February, should we get another lawyer or does it take a long period to do paperwork?
#4 Our payment is gonna be 21 months at 4660.oo we may not have enough left to cover utilities. Our total debt is 62,000
