I was rear ended while waiting at a stop light on 2/2/09. The driver's speed was approximately 25-30 mph. The bumper on my car is a rubber like material and surely that prevented heavier damage to my car. The other car having a metal like bumper and, the impact caused her hood to bend and damage to her bumper.

At the time of the accident I had some issues with my right shoulder and, noticed several days later experienced an onset of pinching like sensations in and around the right shoulder and scapula area.

Since the accident I have undergone a small Rotator cuff repair. I'm not blaming the accident for the surgery but it certainly caused additional aggravation to the shoulder area.

The other driver's insurance company offered only $100 for my discomfort.
