Car Contract

Posted in NEED TO KNOW over 2 years ago, 0 replies

I bought a car from the dealership about 2 months ago. I signed papers for how much the car was, which bank I got the loan from, the interest rate of the loan, and payment amounts from the loan. About 3 weeks later, the dealership told me that my loan was denied and they needed me to come in and sign new papers. They won't tell me how much it went up or the rate. Finally this week i got them to tell me the rate and the new amount I am to pay each month. It is more than what I agreed on. I am curious to know what my legal rights are to the car and if the contract I signed is a binding contract on the bank and/or the dealership? What can I do and what can the dealership do?
