Hey my friend my name is Jason Eller and I was involved in an auto accident last week involving a John Deer company truck. Unfortunately, the insurance wants to total my vehicle and not give what its worth. The total cost to have the vehicle fixed was over 5000 dollars. The accident was not my fault do to the fact that he was in a parking space and as I drove past him he pulled right into me pretty hard (3000 dollars of body damage due to placement of impact.). He didnt backout and hit me as he backed into his parking space. Once my vehicle got halfway past him he pulled out and hit the the bed and cab of the truck as well as the tire (resulting in oil being flushed out of my rearend that I just put in and have reciepts for). I have had to rent a car to get back and forth to work and school. I they offered to pay for a rental but I had to cover insurance, so it was easier to rent a truck from a friend of mine. The problem is, the engine on the truck had 120,000 miles on it, the transmission just rebuilt and a new clutch assembly installed. I have all reciepts as this wasnt done less than a month and a half ago. Nothing was wrong with my truck until after the accident. I have never been involved in an accident other than a fender type thing. I dont know where I stand, but feel like I may be able to get enough thats fair for both parties.
