When tenants file bankruptcy who keeps the deposit

filed bankruptcy and did not pay me for four months. He has vacated the property and now wants his security deposit back. I had filed an unlawful detainer before he filed. The trustee say this is a no asset case. He owed almost two months before he filed and two months after he filed.
