My now ex-boyfriend and I bought a house together. Both of our names are on the house and we are both paying for it. However, I left the house 10 weeks ago. In that time my ex and his Mom took my stuff to a storage facility on the other side of town without telling me. Now I can't retrieve my things without his Mom being present. I retrieved some of it yesterday but now they are not cooperating with me to allow me to get it when I want. They even threatened to take my ex's name off of the house for arguing that they are with holding my belongings. What can I legally do to get the rest of my items? Also, once I have my belongings, I want to take my name off of the house. How do I do this?
