need out of my apartment lease

i cant afford to pay my rent anymore are there any loop holes that will allow me out of my lease without being sued?

I renewed my lease in May 2009 for another year, however, I'm sinking financially and need out of my lease. I have already tried to talk with the landlord but no help. Any ideas?here.
