Hello there, a quick question. Myself and boyfriend signed a contract to rent a flat. Shortly after we moved in the heater was not working, we basically had to BEG the landlord to fix it because it was winter, we had to spend weeks sleeping without heater. He postponed it. Then we had a leak, he did not want to fix it so I told him I would call a person to fix it and deduct it from the rent. He said I could not do that but I finally did it. The bed has gone bad, we can barely sleep on it, we have called him on several ocassions, he either said he would call us back or his phone was off. We have left several messages. We did not pay this month´s rent...we recently have received an email from him stating that he basically was not going to change the bed (matress) and today we have received a letter that we have 2 months to leave, aren´t his obligations to adequately provide for the tenants? He said he is going to probably take us to court, we may be in breach for not paying this month, but is he also in breach for not providing as he should? Thanks a lot
