roomate eviction

I have a roomate who is not on the lease but we do have a written agreement. The agreement dates back to a few months ago and only states that his living at my address, as well as the amount he pays per month for rent. He has always been short on the rent by $100 every month for the last 6 months. He is now threatening to not pay rent tomorrow. Because he is not on the lease, what are my rights? Can I evict him emmediately or do i have to give him notice? Can I change the locks? Can I take him to court for unpaid rent. He usually pays cash and has no rent receipts, and therefore has no proof of paying rent. Also, he does illigal drug trafficking. He never does any of this in our apartment. I have never seen any drugs or any trafficking in the house. I am not involved however I am aware of what he does. Could I also be in trouble if I tell the police
